REMEMBER WITH WHOM WE ARE DEALING.
Introductory Texts:
Matthew 7:15
- "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly
they are ravenous wolves.”
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
- “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into
apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an
angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also transform
themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their
works.”
1 John 4:1
- “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are
of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”
INTRODUCTION:
1. It is always a good policy to know those with
whom we have any dealings.
1. The banker, credit card company, and the
police want positive identification.
2. In our country today we need to know if a
person is a terrorist, a sexual offender, a child molester.
2. In this lesson we shall notice some biblical
examples of those who did not know the One with whom they were dealing, then
make application for today.

Bible |
God |
1. Man today thinks that he can change,
substitute, reject the Word of God without having any consequences to follow.
2. He forgets that he is dealing with God. “He
who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him; the
word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day” - John 12:48.
CONCLUSION:
1. One day we will all have to deal with God.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may
receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good
or bad” - 2 Cor. 5:10.
2. Only by dealing faithfully with His word
today will He deal in mercy, grace, and love in THAT day.
3. Appeal.
