1. Give them a feeling of euphoria

2. Provide personal benefit

3. Illuminate understanding of the Bible

4. Prove that one is a Christian

5. Make trivial decisions for man

6. Instill love in the heart

7. Develop dynamic personalities

8. Make them more spiritual

9. Aid in financial fortunes

10. Fill the heart with joy, gladness, tranquility

11. Reveal personal facts

12. Purify the soul (2^nd grace, sanctification)

13. Reveal will of God on a subject instantaneously (without study)

14. Remove temptation to sin
