How to Get Back

Revelation 2:5

1. Remember –

   1. What you did to become a Christian

      1. Faith – Repentance – Confession of faith

   2. How your faith grew stronger

   3. What it felt like to be saved, forgiven, headed to heaven?

   4. What caused you to drift away?

   5. Realize how far you have gone

2. Repent –

   1. Realize you have gone away

   2. Know that it is an error / sin / wrong

   3. Decide to turn things around

   4. Actually begin heading a new direction

3. Restore –

   1. Do first works again

   2. Get back to what was working in the beginning

      1. Faith – Repentance – Confession of wrong

      2. Ask for help to make the corrections

4. Remove –

   1. Congregations can grow / die

   2. Individual churches can fade away

   3. They can explode / blow up

   4. They can be REMOVED by Jesus
