God's Amazing Grace!
TEXT: Titus 2:11-14
Introduction: We are saved by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8). We are to grow in grace of the Lord (2 Pet. 3:18). We must proclaim the gospel of God's grace (Acts 20:24). We must stand in God's grace (Rom. 5:1,2). The blessings and importance of God's Grace is revealed in Titus 2:11-14. Notice what we find!
The Origin of God's Grace (2:11a): "for the grace of God." God is the source of grace.
The Intent of God's Grace (2:11b): "that brings salvation." Salvation is the purpose of God's grace.
The Extent of God's Grace (2:11c): "has appeared to all men." The gospel is for all. The recipients of God's grace are "all men."
The Demands of God's Grace (2:12): "teaching us...denying...we should live..." God's grace requires we leave unholy practices & live a holy life.
The Hope of God's Grace (2:13): "looking for...hope...and appearing of Christ Jesus." God's grace fills us with the hope of eternal life.
The Price of God's Grace (2:14): "who gave Himself for us..." Grace cost God His Son and it cost His Son His life.
Conclusion: Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.
