TEXT: Joshua 11:15-16

PROPOSITION: God requires that we do ALL he has commanded.

1. Baptism -

    A. Acts 16:30 commanded to believe - teach faith only

    They were baptized same hour of night

    B. Acts 8:35 Preached Jesus - includes baptism

2. Sing -

A. The command to sing prohibits instruments in worship.

Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16; 1 Cor. 14:15

B. It also includes a requirement that we sing - not listen.

3. Repent -

    A. Commanded - Acts 17:30; Acts 2:38

    B. Also commanded to be baptized.

4. Give -

    A. Freely, willing, not of necessity 2 Cor. 9:7

    B. Does demand that we give “as prospered”

5. Communion -

A. Take each Sunday, bread and fruit of vine

B. Also - proper manner - remember his death

C. Failure = damnation 1 Cor. 11:27-29

6. Baptism -

    A. Right method - burial in water Col. 2:12; Rom. 6:4
