TITLE: Jesus Slipped Away

2. Jesus was able to escape.

3. Notice How and Why he left their midst.

NOTICE HOW HE LEFT THEM:

1. He Hid Himself.

A. Half of those who claim membership - in hiding.

B. Matthew 10:32-33. Confess=confess Deny=deny

C. Matthew 25:34

D. 2 Tim. 2:12. Deny him, he will deny us.

E. Where is Jesus in your life?

2. He went out of the temple.

A. Talking with religiously self-righteous.

B. Is. 1:10-15.

C. Proverbs 1:24-28.

3. He went through the midst of them.

A. He was surrounded, threatened.

B. Left, unnoticed. Not missed for some time.

C. Treat Jesus like a fire escape.

 

NOTICE WHY HE LEFT THEM:

1. Worldly. 23 From beneath, Jesus from above.

2. Self-righetous. 33 We are not in bondage.

3. Did not love God. 42 Love Father, would love Jesus.

4. Refuse to hear Jesus' teaching. 43 Cannot hear.

5. Sinful. 44 Of your father, the devil.

6. Not believe. 45-46 You believe me not.
