WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO WORSHIP?

Ps 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.

John 4:23‑24 

 

1.   I SHOULD BRING A LOVE OF THE TRUTH AND A DESIRE TO KNOW IT

     A.  It takes more than zeal. Romans 10:1‑3 

     B.  Salvation requires a love of the truth. 2 Thessalonians 2:8‑12

     C.  Our salvation and our transformation require large doses of the truth.

2.   I SHOULD BRING A DESIRE TO BE MADE INTO SOMEONE GLORIOUS

3. I SHOULD BRING A DESIRE TO BE CLOSER TO EVERYTHING GOOD

     A. Fellowship with God, Christ, and one another. 1 John 1:1-7

     B.  Joyfully looking forward to seeing one another?

4. I SHOULD COME, GIVING OUR BEST AND OURSELVES TO GOD

     A.  As the churches of Macedonia. 2 Corinthians 8:3‑5 

     B.  As brothers and sisters in and to Christ, belonging to God. Romans 12:1 

5.  I SHOULD BRING AGAPE LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER

     A.  As Christ commanded. John 13:34‑35

     B.  Enjoying the company of fellow Christians. Romans 12:10‑16

     C.  Arms widespread to show kindness to one another in love.
