Tree of Life - eternal life – live forever in this paradise
2. Notice What Man Did.

Three-way temptation:

Lust of flesh Good for food

Lust of eyes Beautiful to look upon

Pride of life Desired to make one wise

Played the "blame game."

Fully aware of their wrong.

Naked, hid themselves

Covered themselves with fig leaves

Innocence gone - Now they are aware of wrong, sin, evil.

Partnership. Equality.
3. Notice What Man Lost.

Ease and Comfort –

By the sweat of the face

Work soil, plow, chop, fertilize

Fight the weeds, vines, dandelions, kudzu

Freedom from Pain –

In childbirth

Pain – sickness, death

Animals - Snakes in the grass, Tiger kills in San Francisco, rats

Insects – mosquitoes, ants

Plants – Kudzu, dandelions,

Humans – husband, government, laws, taxes, war, terrorists
Paradise can be re-gained – Faith, obedience, life dedicated to God
