Spirit (soldier) works through the Word (weapon)
He also works for us, on our behalf

Significance
Every Christian receives the Spirit as a seal, an earnest, pledge
To believe that Deity hears and answers prayer, grants wisdom (James 1:5), is easier when we believe in the closeness to us of the Godhead.
