TO TOLERATE OR NOT TOLERATE

1. Immorality

There is a grace of tolerance
1. Tolerate pain
a. Endure hardness 2 Timothy 2:3
b. Suffer patiently James 5:10-11
c. Some things will never feel good
i. Surgery lose weight ask for forgiveness
ii. Job study for final exam
d. If worthwhile it will cost some pain
i. Runner no pain, no gain
ii. Best things in life are free but freedom costs
iii. Might cost you job, relationship, sweat, tears, your life
iv. Ask not how much, worth it? 2 Corinthians 4:17
e. Feeling good FOLLOWS doing good
i. Run, train, fight wear the crown
ii. Obey then rejoice
iii. Say to fireplace warm me and I will bring in some wood
2. Tolerate the brethren Romans 14:10, 13
a. Everybody ought to be perfect like you, but most arent
b. Preachers many should do something else
c. Elders love the flock or get out
d. Deacons accept that some will complain, no matter what you do
e. Members in this church there are differences in:
i. Political views
ii. Wealth
iii. Education
iv. Ways of approaching a situation or problem
v. Training, upbringing, methods of discipline
