a.    Correction for sin

b.    Restored fellowship

c.    Make strong Christians

d.    Brings comfort from friends

4.    Eternal Rewards for Suffering

How to Handle Trouble

1.    Profit by your trouble

a.    James 1:2-4 count it all joy

2.    Submit joyfully

a.    Romans 5:3 glory in tribulation

3.    Confess and Forsake any known sin

a.    Trouble is time to examine your life

b.    You have time to make corrections

4.    Pray for those who cause you trouble

a.    Heap coals of fire on their head

b.    Pray for enemies

5.    Take your troubles to God
