4 STEWARDS

1 Timothy 6:17-19

 

Introduction

1.     Define – steward – one who manages the affairs, finances, or property for another

2.     We are stewards – we must be honest, faithful

 

There are four types of stewards

You are somewhere in this lesson

1.     Does little with much

a.     Rich Farmer – Luke 12

b.     Rich man – Luke 16

c.     Prodigal Son – Luke 15

d.     Rich Ruler – Mark 10

2.     Does much with little

a.     Feed 5,000 with sack lunch – John 6:9

b.     Widow’s mite – Mark 12

c.     Peter and John – Acts 3:6

3.     Does little with little

a.     One talent man – Matthew 25

b.     Luke 16:10

c.     Luke 19:17

d.     Farmer – If I had a million, give half to church. What if you had 2 hogs? Not fair, you know I got 2 hogs.

4.     Does much with much

a.     Count your blessings

b.     5 talent man – Matthew 25

c.     Don’t trust in riches – 1 Timothy 6:17
