INTRODUCTION:

  1. Old building is torn down - making room for new building

  2. Progress requires that we tear down some walls.

  4. There are some walls in our lives that need to come down.

 

  1. Prejudice.

    1. Racial

    2. Spiritual

  2. Misunderstanding.

    1. Friendships, relatives, marriages lost by this.

    2. ANSWER - Listen, talk, seek to understand each other.

  3. Difference of Opinion.

    1. We will differ - different past leads to different opinions

    2. NEVER let opinions divide or separate us.

  4. Hatred.

    1. Envy - desire what another has and hate them for it

    2. Jealousy - protect what you have and hate them for wanting it

  5. Fear.

    1. Fear = negative motivator - hold back, keep from action

    2. Fear all the wrong places - others, public opinion, world

  6. Faithlessness.

    1. Faith in God’s promises will urge us to live right.

    2. 1 Pet. 4:8 Love shall cover the multitude of sins

  7. Unloving Attitudes.

    1. Solve many problems that divide

    2. Love covers a multitude of sins

  8. No Motivation.

    1. YOUGOTTAWANNA”

    2. Hell highway = Good intentions
